Hier müsste das Fenster auf die einmal eingestellte Sicht fixiert bleiben, so dass ich bis an den Rand des Panafall oder Panadapter gehen kann.

genau so verhält es sich bei PowerSDR 3.4.9. Gab es so seit 3.4.3. Nennt sich CTUN scroll. CTUN scroll gibt es natürlich auch in Thetis aber eben ohne feste Bandgrenzen
und ohne zugehöriger Check Box. Siehe Bild.
Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen dass es sehr problematisch ist die Funktion wieder einzubauen, oder eben aus PowerSDR zu kopieren.

first of all i like to thank you for your fantastic work on Thetis.
I like to ask if it is possible to bring back the "CTUN Scroll" checkbox like it is in PowerSDR mrx.
I liked this option very much since it prevents to move beyond the display edges, especialy when zooming in a whole band from edge to edge.
I know CTUN Scroll works also in Thetis, but without the possibilty to aviod scrolling beyond the edge of the spectral display.
Maybe it is possible to add a function which allows a "fixed display"?

Another question.
Are there any thoughts about a complete redesign of the whole UI to make it look more upto date, like it is in ExpertSDR or ZeusSDR?

Yes I do like the idea of a fix/lock type thing. The whole ctun/spectrum drag really needs a tidy/re-implement.
Also, yes, the whole thing is about to change, and will allow drag-able/dock-able elements. This will take time and I will be starting this in the new year.
I am contemplating having a WB display, where you can add receivers, but not 100% set on that idea yet.

Deine 386KB Sample Rate bekommst Du nur mit Protokoll 2 auf dem Red Pitaya mit Thetis in der original Version oder Du hast eine Thetis-Version,
die es zulässt dass ich 384KB Sample Rate auch bei Protokoll 1 eintragen kann.

Ja das mit 384KB und Protokol 2 ist mir bekannt.
Ich habe auch schon im Quellcode nach dem relevanten Protokol 1 Code gesucht bin aber nicht fündig geworden. Bin halt kein Programierer.

Bei PowerSDR kann ich und habe ich immer 384KB Sample Rate eingestellt mit Protokoll 1 von Pavel und alles geht, es gibt auch keine Aussetzer bei PS-A.

Stimmt, bei mir ist es genau so eingestellt und ich liebe es.

Heute habe ich die 21K8 installiert, leider ist die CTUN Funktion was das Thema Bandgrenzen und CTUN scroll nicht gelöst.

Sigi, würdest Du bitte nochmals das Thema an Richie adressieren, ich kann das auch machen, aber Du hast hier schon die Vorarbeit geleistet.

Hallo Jörg, auch dir ein gutes neues Jahr.

Habe ich zu meiner Enttäuschung leider auch feststellen müssen.
Obwohl mein Vorschlag dazu schon einige Zeit her ist, gehe ich davon aus dass "unsere" CTUN Vorstellung irgendwo ganz unten auf der Prioritätenliste steht.
Vielleicht kommt ja mehr Schwung in die Sache wenn noch jemand Interesse an der Funktion bekundet. Auch G4XZL hatte es schon angeregt. Irgendwie scheint es auch aus der TODO Liste verschwunden zu sein.

Hi Richie,

on the video https://youtu.be/c-7youfWnaA I show the CTUN function turned on and its behavior when you click to position it on the outer set band limits. No matter if you select a frequency at 3,600 Khz or at 3,800 Khz, the display jumps, the set range is not fixed. This behavior is already known from PowerSDR and is not a problem of Thetis. The lack of this feature has already been pointed out in the Apache forum, unfortunately this issue has not been addressed.

Especially for protocol 2 this makes sense, here you can display the whole range of a band at 384Kb sample rate.

Totales Chaos leider... Richie arbeitet ja auch ständig an einer Version, leider total unkoordiniert. Normalerweise sollte man via Github entwickeln, aber wenn jeder für sich was bastelt, wird es problematisch den CODE zu migrieren. Ich spreche noch mal mit Richie

Ich habe gerade die 21k9(pre) installiert.

CTUN: wenn man an die Bandgrenzen kommt, springt er jetzt nicht mehr so weit, aber die Grenzen verschieben sich noch von links nach recht oder von rechts nach links.

Das Spektrum(Bandgrenzen) sind nicht fixiert, um das Bild wieder zu richten, muss man in die gegenüberliegende Bandgrenze gehen und dort wieder verschieben.

Vielleicht habe ich aber auch noch einen Haken im Setup nicht gesetzt.

Ich habe den Fehler gefunden, ich hatte einen Haken zu viel gesetzt, so geht es jetzt super. Mouse drag only darf nicht gesetzt sein.
